"Wow Marzipan, I really like your Harley Quinn costume!" HSRtober Day 31: Favorite Halloween Toon So, um, my favorite Halloween toon is "Decomposing Pumpkins," but I already did a Brainkrieg piece this month. I couldn't pick between the other ones, so I just made my OWN with custom Homestar Runner costumes! This had the added benefit of being able to draw main characters that didn't get their own prompt day this month. See how many you can recognize before viewing the answers below: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- From top to bottom, left to right: Strong Mad is Spongebob Squarepants, the main character of the titular Nickelodeon show. Bubs is Brad Armstrong, the player character in the video game "LISA: The Painful RPG." Pom Pom is parody musician Weird Al Yankovic as he appeared in the music video for "Fat." The King of Town is Lucky, mascot for the cereal brand "Lucky Charms." Coach Z is MF Doom, the masked supervillain rapper, based on his illustrated appearance on the rerelease cover of his debut album, "Operation: Doomsday." The Poopsmith is Phonogram Man, a music-box playing character from "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time" that teaches you the Song of Storms. Homsar is dressed as Lisa Simpson dressed as the state of Florida from The Simpsons episode "$pringfield (or How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love Legalized Gambling)." The Cheat is Snoopy, Charlie Brown's pet beagle from the Charles Schulz comic strip, "Peanuts." Strong Bad is The Crazy World of Arthur Brown, a horror-based psychedelic rock musician, dressed as he was from his 1968 "Top of the Pops" performance. Strong Sad is William "D-Fens" Foster, a disgruntled former defense engineer and main character of the Joel Schumacher film "Falling Down." Homestar is Cosmo, one of Timmy Turner's Fairy Godparents from the Nickelodeon cartoon "The Fairly Oddparents." Marzipan is Juliet Starling, a high school cheerleader and zombie hunter from the video game "Lollipop Chainsaw." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Who do you think had the best costume?
